Hatched Art® is a new brand launched by artist Rajul in 2017 for her hand drawn artworks in her signature fragmented style which are digitally coloured and created into Greeting Cards and Art Prints.
HATCHED ART® BY RAJUL
‘Hatched Art®’ was conjured from wanting ‘creating’ at the heart of the brand and it describes the fragmented style of my artwork perfectly, like a broken egg! I hand draw in black ink with jagged lines and digitally colour to bring vibrancy and bright colours to the drawings and occasionally animate to bring the artworks to life!
I like to have fun with the brand, pop art being a massive influence and I am inspired by pretty much everything about life around me.
GREETING CARDS
Designed to look like a hatching artwork, each card is uniquely created centring the fragmented illustration with the occasional exploding theme such as ice cream sprinkles, pop corn pieces and even more subtle ideas such as flying birds to have a little fun with the card sending!
ART PRINTS
The ‘animal’ illustrations series were motivated by safaris in Kenya (where my parents were born) and the pineapple purely from a mad desire to draw one! The print is in high quality coloured inks onto uncoated paper to give a ‘vibrant matt’ finish to perfectly decorate a home!
